Wireless Solution RP-512 outdoor W-DMX W-DMX RP-512 is a single DMX universe repeater for outdoor use. 512Ch 90-250VDC & 12VDC IP65 W-DMX BlackBox RP-512 Outdoor repeater is by far the most advanced unit in the W-DMX Series of products. It gives the professional user and demanding clients the most flexible unit on the market for controlling fixtures wirelessly without interference. The RP-512 is a 512-channel plug-and-play repeater that is compatible with the rest of the W-DMX product line. The repeater is easily controlled by “One-Button-2-Go” technology and the status of the radio link is indicated in a intuitive way. The W-DMX BlackBox RP-512 Outdoor repeater meets IP65 and Nema 6 standards. It fits perfectly in architectural applications or rentals that need an extra heavy duty unit to work in environments that demand a more robust design. The unit includes a battery backup to keep the unit running through a power outage, making the system even more reliable. The repeater receives the radio signal from a transmitter and performes advanced signal processing before retransmitting the signal. The repeater is ideal as a “corner bender”, making any non line of sight installation possible where a normal transmitter/receiver setup would fail. With the repeater, virtually unlimited distances of wireless DMX are possible. The repeater is used to boost the signal when coverage drops. The W-DMX BlackBox RP-512 Outdoor is delivered with a robust 2 dBi outdoor antenna. The standard 2 dBi antenna can easily be replaced with any of our outdoor antennas to increase the standard transmission range of 700m (2300 feet) up to an incredible 3200m (9650 feet). The W-DMX BlackBox RP-512 Outdoor is designed for installation in both indoor and outdoor use and are delivered with wallbracket installation kit. Any products in the outdoor range can be order in custom request RAL colors. All W-DMX products uses the license free 2.45 GHz ISM band, and are certified for use in the Unitied States, Canada, Japan, and all European Union countries. The W-DMX BlackBox RP-512 Outdoor uses AFHSS, Adaptive Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum, along with a number of other techniques to avoid interference and create a very reliable wireless link.
