Vogels VPC545 silver projector ceiling mount kit 30cm Vogels universal projector ceiling mount kit comprises the Vogels PFA9005 fixed ceiling plate that includes a safety mounting eye, the Vogels PFA9016 30cm extension tube pole made from easy to cut aluminium which includes CIIS cable inlay system and Vogels VPC545 projector support in silver. The universal ceiling projector support VPC545 is designed to ceiling mount projectors with maximum weight of 10kg (22lbs). It has stylish metal arms and fits virtually all projectors. The VPC545 has a short 6.5cm ceiling mounting tube, so you would slot the extension tube into the support to give you a 30cm length from the top of the ceiling plate to the buttom of the projector support. Pole is easy to cut should you need to shorten this. Picture shows the components that make up the kit; left to right; PFA9005 fixed ceiling plate, PFA9016 30cm column tube; EFC4010 projector support; a projector on the support without the column tube (projector not included). The support has been designed for fast installation, safety and anti-theft features. Easy click in/out system with anti-theft screws is ideal for servicing an cleaning. EPC4010 is a projector ceiling support that fits nearly all projectors weighing up to 10kg. It tilts and rolls for optimal viewing position and has anti-theft screws including 4 metal mounting arms for easy mounting. You can use this EPC4010 on its own as a close to ceiling mount or you can add poles to lengthen the mount. If you have a heavier projector up to 20kg you will need the PPC200 projector ceiling point, which looks the same as the EPC4010 but is heavy duty. The poles (extension tubes) come in three sizes: PFA 30cm, PFA9015 80cm, PFA9003 150cm and PFA9004 300cm. You then need a ceiling mount plate PFA9005 which takes up to 60kg and includes safety mounting eye, or a heavy duty ceiling plate PFA9020 which also takes two projectors 60kg and is designed for especially long extension tubes ie PFA9004 (300cm) and/or projector anti-theft cages PPA300/301. You can instead of PFA9005 have a PFA9019 which is the sloping ceiling mounting plate which angles 0-100 degrees so you can use it for flat mounting or angled and is suitable for vertical use on walls. There is also a PFA9009 which is a truss adaptor for attaching extension tubes to 50mm truss systems. This is useful when you want a projector mounted as part of a disco, nightclub, sound and lighting system. Wedgwood have bundled together an EPC4010 ceiling mount kit for standard projectors up to 10kg, e.g. EPC4010 1.5m kit which comprises PFA9005, PFA9003 and EPC4010, but you can make up your own modular kits by buying the individual components mentioned above. For instances where your projector has no fixing holes at all, then Vogels TVB040 projetor ceiling support for projectors up to 30kg, has an integrated ceiling plate, adjustable pole and a platform on which the projector sits; and optional tubes ET040 are available for longer drops. A projector wall support is also available, PPW100 for projectors up to 10kg. Fast installation With the asy click in/out system it is easy to attach or remove the projector and the interface from the ceiling tube. This easy click system is ideal for servicing and cleaning. Theft deterrent Vogels have paid attention to theft prevention and the projector supports are equipped with screws that can only be removed with a special tool that comes with the support. The interface head is attached to the extension tube by means of a steel connection. An anti-theft steel cable (not included) can be attached to the ceiling plate. Important Vogels recommend that you do NOT use an adjustable extension tube when using the projector cages, simply because if the bolt which holds the adjustment in place happens to fail then the security cage could drop and hurt someone. To be on the safe side only use the security cage with the one piece extension tubes. Projector cages PPA300 for compact projectors and PPA301 for large projectors both can be used for left and right hand lens, and you use a cage in conjuction with a ceiling plate, extension tube and projector ceiling support. Adjustable projector ceiling supports for sloping ceilings (do not use with a cage) are PPC130, PPC150 and PPC180 are for projectors up to 10kg. For larger projectors up to 20kg, use PPC230, PPC250 or PPC280 adjustable ceiling supports for sloping ceilings.
