Thinspace RDS100HXB with software RDS100HXB is flexible and discrete network player for digital signage solutions. It can operate as a stand alone device or as part of a network of devices that playback the desired content on digital displays. Comes with Promospace digital signage software, single licence. Please note When using with Promospace digital signage software, the software is LAN only (software sold separately). The RDS100HXB comes with a 40GB hard drive, ideal for storage of media and software. With a wide array of ports and high specification CPU this small and discrete unit is also fanless, therefore it is silent thus not creating background noise when sited next to a display playing back digital signage content. With a specially designed ruggedised case so it can be located in many different environments and played continuously over long periods of time. It is also designed specifically for running large digital displays, such as LCDs and Plasmas. It can support a wide array of resolutions from 640x480 up to 1600x1200, allowing for a wide variety of displays to be used and whilst also supporting 32 bit true colour depth ensuring crisp and bright reproduction of imagery. The RDS100HXB comes bundled with remote management software enabling a network of digital signage players to be controlled from a central source. They also have a feature called Wake-On-Line (WOL), ideal in a digital signage network, it enables all RDS100HXB units to be powered on and off from a control centre. With RS-232C which can be used for a port for a dial up modem this gives the unit the ability to stream digital signage content as live across the internet. The RDS100HXB comes with some key software benefits that make it perfect for digital signage networks. They come with File sharing support which allows a central source access to remote folders and files stored on networked RDS100HXB units. This allows content to be updated across the network from a central point and for the network players to share content with one another. For security issues it comes with EWF support for administrators and system recovery. EWF (Enhance Write Filter) allows administrators to lock down the operating system and content so it cannot be altered. So if another user tries to alter the content, when the network player is rebooted it will go back to its previous state and not keep the unauthorised changes. Also if the operating system fails the system recovery feature allows it to be fully recovered. With the auto power on feature if the external power goes down for whatever reason, whether it is a power cut or a system error, when the power is reconnected the network player automatically reboots. With its ability to playback MPEG4 video and with the option for DVI input you can get the purest of picture quality from the RDS100HXB.
