Sony have made digital signage easy for you; all you need is a Sony LCD public display, choose a screen size 32, 40, 42 or 50-inch. Then slot a Sony BKM-FW50 digital signage board into the back of the display and you can create your own presentation stored on CompactFlash media.

Please note that normal (CRT) computer monitors have a viewable screen size 1" less  than advertised.  For example, a 15" CRT monitor is actually 14", where as a 15" LCD monitor is 15" diagonal.

These LCD monitors are designed to be used as normal computer monitors.  Only the ones marked as having video can accept input from video recorders, DVD players and video cameras.  You can play DVD movies with any monitor if your computer has a DVD drive and DVD movie player software installed.

Touch screen LCD monitors allow the mouse cursor of any computer to be controlled by touching the screen with your finger instead.  These include the software to do this.   Touch screen LCD monitors.
