Smart rear projection in-wall systems are ideal for mounting the unit into a wall, so that it just looks like a large touchscreen on the wall, ideal for schools, colleges and boardrooms. Alternatively you can have the rear projection interactive whiteboard in a cabinet. Some models in the in-wall rear projection interactive whiteboard series include a projector system whilst others leave you to choose your own projector.

The advantage of rear projection is that you do not cast a shadow when you stand in front of the whiteboard, unlike front projection whiteboards where a shadow is cast as the project shines from the front. Although now, Smart have come up with a front projection all-in-one interactive whiteboard with Unifi projector on a boom arm which also includes audio.
