Sahara Protector XGA projector
Sahara Protector XGA DLP projector Sahara Protector DLP is recommended for education as its a secure projector with a removable security panel. After initial set up the panel is removed and the Protector continues to work via the remote until unplugged. Also you get a free unit if stolen within 12 months from purchase date. Once unplugged the projector is disabled until the control panel is re-installed. All control panels are unique to each projector for further security. The projector is bright orange on top and comes with stickers that warn thieves that the projector will not work if its stolen. Sahara will give you a free unit if yours is stolen within 12 months of purchase (subject to their terms and conditions). Normal mode for brightness is 1700 ANSI, which can be reduced to 1500 ANSI in line with BECTA recommendations when using in a school classroom, but boosted to 1900 ANSI lumens if using a school assembly hall. Using eco mode prolongs life of lamp. There are no filters to clean and the 6 colour, colour wheel enhances definition. You can mount your projector with a Sahara 1m ceiling mount kit or use an orange security box which will retrofit to any Sahara mount. Warning stickers on the outside reinforce the security message. You can use a central lens or LH/RH lens security box in light grey as an alternative (all sold separately). Sahara theft cover protection Sahara will give you a FOC replacement if unit or lamp is stolen, cover valid for 12 months from date of purchase. This does not include accidental damage, fire or flood, and Sahara terms and conditions apply. Applicable only to the Protector XGA model. Approximately 4000 hour lamp life. If lamp fails during the first three years or 3000 hours, whichever is sooner, when sold into education only, otherwise one year manufacturers warranty. Sahara Protector XGA projector specification
