Polycom SoundStation2W conference phone SoundStation2W wireless conference phone, NOT expandable, with LED display, has DECT range of up to 150-feet from unit to base station in ideal conditions. You can talk up to 10-feet away, making this ideal for medium to small conference rooms, suitable for up to 8 conference participants. It comes with a 12 hour talk time battery. There are two versions of SoundStation2W, the basic one which is not expandable, and the SoundStation2W-EX which is expandable. The basic model has up to 12 hours talk time on battery whilst the expandable model has up to 24 hours talk time on battery. If you have the basic model and want to upgrade to 24 hours talk time battery you can upgrade the battery. SoundStation2W comes with a base station which you can wall mount or hide out of sight near the phone line, so that only the conference phone sits on the desk and looks professional with no trailing wires. Ideal for boardrooms, hotel conference suites and conference rooms. Features Acoustic Clarity Technology Note* SoundStation2W models use either 2.4 GHz WDCT (Worldwide Digital Cordless Telecommunications) or the 1.9 GHz DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) standards, depending on the wireless requirements where the phone will be used.
