Vertical International Firefile 2240 series of fire protection files offer 90 minutes fire resistance at 1015 degrees centigrade. Able to accommodate foolscap, A4 and A5 files on width adjustable rails. A high security keylock operates independently on each drawer.

An optional (extra) data protection insert is also available to protect computer media. Optional (extra) high security electronic locking available.

Phoenix Vertical Firefile 2240 series fire protection safes

Phoenix 2240 series of Firefiles have been engineered to withstand temperatures in excess of 1015 degrees centigrade for 90 minutes. Available in standard two or four drawer versions, the files feature automatic locking with a single security lock acting on all drawers. Each drawer may be isolated to provide a combination of locked and unlocked drawers at any one time.

Also available as a combination Mixed Media File. Data media such as computer disks and tapes require added protection from heat and moisture, extending the firefiles capability to cater for this requirement is the media chest. This unique data protection unit (extra cost) fits snugly into the bottom drawer, providing for easy use and ensures maximum protection for your invaluable data.

Features of the 2240 series

Insulation is provided by the unique light weight Styronite F insulation material
All steel is electrolytic zinc coated to provide for an extended life
Applied on top of the quality urethane epoxy primer is a durable urethane hammertone paint. This combination provides for a brighter, smoother and longer lasting finish that resists scratching or marking.
Hanging rails are adjustable to accommodate foolscap, A4 and A5 files.
Heavy duty slide rails allow the drawer to move back and forth smoothly while carrying up to a massive 50kg of filing.
Locking can be by the standard high security key lock or optional user friendly electronic lock
Recessed handle is neat, easy to use and fitted with index card
Each drawer is individually insulated for better fire protection
Tight construction of body and drawer prevent smoke and heat damage to contents

All Phoenix fire safes come with the manufacturers free lifetime after-the-fire warranty and a full two year materials and labour warranty. Manufactured in Liverpool by Phoenix Safe Company, each fire resistant model is independently tested to a European standard.

Please notedelivery is to ground floor only, an additional charge may be incurred depending on weight. An additional charge will be made if delivery is not to ground floor or if there are any steps to get to the ground floor.

Optional fixing charge A, or optional fixing charge B is available, depending on size and weight of safe. Some of the safes have to be bolted to the floor in order for their security protection to be in place.
