Panasonic WJ-RT416 Panasonic WJ-RT416 16 camera input digital disk recorder. Records all 16 cameras at 25 ips. MPEG-4 compression. Six hard disks can be installed, max 3TB (500GB x 6) disk capacity. WJ-RT416 real-time digital recorder offers a total recording time of 400 ips with enhanced encoding of image data. With simultaneous recording from 16 cameras at 25 ips and a resolution of 704 x 288 pixels. One MPEG-4 encoder for each two image input channels are provided in the WJ-RT416, with a total of 8 built-in encoders, recording all images from 16 cameras at 25 ips. No critical moments are missed and confirmation of events at a later date can be made with confidence. The WJ-RT416 encompasses high quality and high compression for economical longer recording. MPEG-4 is a compression method suitable for the smooth recording of moving objects. The high compression efficiency capacity of the HDD allows for more effective utilization and longer recording compared with other methods. Data can be transferred over the network using a smaller bandwidth, allowing for smoother image monitoring and better quality results. For simple operation, the WJ-RT416 encompasses easy to use panels and on screen GUI enlargement of frequently used buttons with principal operations being executed via the cross pad and adjacent buttons. You can increase the HDD capacity to a maximum of 3 TB by installing additional HDDs. Installation of additional HDDs is simple with the WJ-RT416; just remove the front panel and insert them in to the designated slots, as and when required.
