Panasonic BB-HCE481 is PoE (only) version of the BB-HCM381.

Panasonic BB-HCM381, pan, tilt and zoom network camera, has multi image display, which means that you can view up to four cameras simultaneously, making it ideal if you want to check four different stores at the same time, without having to spend time and money travelling to individual locations. For indoor use. 2-way audio.

HCM381 is IPV6 ready, which means the camera allows the use of a virtually unlimited number of IP addresses by supporting IPV6, a next-generation protocol. The IPv4/IPv6 dualstack feature enables you to use IPv4 at the present and switch over to IPv6 in the future.

The 42x zoom function enlarges charaters on faraway objects for easy reading, and the camera direction can be flexibily adjusted in vertical and horizontal directions, using pan, tilt and zoom, allowing a single camera to monitor a wide range of area, for instance monitoring a large warehouse with a single camera.

It has two way voice communication but you need an external microphone and speakers (not included). Obviously, the people at the other end also need a camera with audio facilities.

The HCM381 supports a voice and image recording program, you can record conversations, for example, record customers in a store, and you can use these recordings to train sales staff and take market surveys. Please note you can only use voice and image on the HCM381 when using IPv4.

An example of using two way audio is to have an HCM381 in two locations, and with an external microphone and speakers (not included), you can view and talk to staff, colleagues or suppliers, at other branches or locations, which saves time and money spent on travelling. Images can be viewed either on your PC or LCD monitor or plasma screen.

The CCD image sensor shows moving objects with clearer, smoother motion, making moving objects look more natural, thus making them easier to monitor effectively.
