Optoma EW536 Optoma EW536 widescreen WXGA projector has 2,800 ANSI lumens brightness. It is 3-D capable. Using the inherent speed of DLP technology, the Optoma EW536 can output video and images at an astonishing rate of 120Hz, allowing you to show full screen, full colour, stereoscopic 3D. This model is recommended for education as it has a manufacturer 3 year hot swap warranty for peace of mind, and is 3D capable, especially for teaching sciences using 3D teaching content. (Content not included). The 3D effect is generated by splitting this signal into two standard video streams, one for each eye.Using DLP® Link™ technology, the 3D glasses synchronise with the image on screen to filter each stream to the correct eye. Your brain then combines the two streams to make them jump into life. The 3D features of Optoma projectors can only be used with compatible 3D content. Typical applications include use with 3D educational or 3D design and modelling software. To view 3D TV broadcast signals such as Sky 3D, 3D Blu-ray players and 3D games from the Sony® PS3 the Optoma 3D-XL projector adapter is required. The 3D-XL projector adapter simply connects between a 3D source and any 3D Ready DLP® projector (the projector must be able to display a 120Hz frame-sequential 3D source, and must have an HDMI input). Needs 3D glasses and graphics card, sold separately. Optoma EW536 3D projector specification
