NEC X551S 55-inch LCD public display in the NEC Multi-Sync X-Series, with LED backlights. It is a professional display panel with the brightness and reliability standards suitable for public display applications such as high-end retail signage applications or central information displays in hotel or conference centres.
The LED backlighting allows for very low energy consumption and an extremely slim monitor. NEC have introduced energy saving LED backlighting in place of CCFL backlights. As well as low power consumption and slim design the product is lighter and uses no environmentally hazardous substances such as mercury, in line with NEC Green Vision campaign.
