Motic SW010233 Motic hemacytometer holder for use with Motic AE20 / AE21 inverted microscopes.
The stage is the flat, black table where the prepared slide is held in place by the stage clips. An adjustable stage stop protects slides and microscope. Stage clips hold the slide in place on the stage. The working distance is the area between the top of the specimen and the bottom of the objective lens when the sample is in focus. A mechanical stage may be fitted or supplied with the microscope and retains the prepared slide. Mechanical movement allows the slide to be manipulated in X and Y directions. The slip clutch prevents the gears being damaged if you try to rack further than the normal stop position.
