Motic SP100452B Siedentopf trinocular eyepiece tube 30 degrees inclined (beam splitting ratio 0:100) for use with Motic BA400 microscopes. Picture shows any eyepiece for illustration only, actual eyepiece may differ. Eyepieces A primary image is formed by the objective lenses; the eyepiece forms a secondary image, which is what you view. Two types of eyepieces are commonly available; Widefield which gives a large field a view; Huygenian which gives a narrow field of view, graticules can be fitted to appropriate eyepieces. The eyepieces fit into the eyepiece tube or ocular tube. Field of view is the area which is seen through the eyepiece when the microscope is in focus.
