Motic SFC-100 series of biological microscopes are designed for educational students in schools, colleges and universities.

This model is the same as the SFC-100FL except the illumination is by LED. Supplied complete with rechargeable batters and mains charger.

Student advanced microscope SFC series

An exceptional full size range of microscopes with high quality optics and 360 degree rotatable head with either Tungesten, Halogen or LED illumination.

LED lighting

LED illumination is provided by light emitting diodes. The LEDs give strong even illumination across the field of view at all magnications and you no longer have to worry about wattage of lamps etc.

LED provides a non-heat illumination eliminating problems caused by heat generated from traditional bulbs. Extra safe operation as LED is low voltage. It is also as close to natural day light blue light as found on expensive research and general laboratory microscopes.

Two types of LED are available either direct power via mains adaptor or the new cordless concept which features a rechargeable battery that operates continuously for 60 hours (for an 8 hour charge). The microscopes can be used when the batteries are being charged. Battery life, approx 500 to 1000 charges.

Wedgwood only deliver to the UK mainland.
