Powered by 3 x AAA batteries not included. Please note This kit is similar to the Motic DS300, except the latter has a digital camera enabling you to capture images. The LM-100 has no camera. The LM-100 gives a massive x20-x100 magnification, is simple to operate and will provide children with a fascinating window into the microscopic world. It can be used to view prepared specimen slides, larger objects such as rocks, insects, plants and pond water samples. 3 mode illumination provides top lighting, bottom lighting or a combination of both all with adjustable intensity.
