Lumens manufacturer visualisers for the education market and medical research markets. Lumens DC120 visualiser now has an optional DC-A11 wireless base, that you can sit the DC120 into. This means you can move the visualiser from desk to desk in a classroom, especially useful in special needs teacher, without trailing wires. You could, for example, in a primary school, take a laptop and wireless visualiser out into playground, capture images of leaves, etc., and using a response system, such as TurningPoint ResponseCard and ResponseCard Anywhere, have the pupils then answer questions about the topics. The DC120 visualiser lets you record, so you could record cress growing on a windowsill, for example. You set it to capture an image say, every 6 hours, and then when you run the recording back you can actually see the cress growing. Lumens document cameras and visualisers - current product range:
