Lapsafe Mentor SmartLine S25 is a storage/charging module for up to 25 laptops.

Lapsafe Smartline 'S' provides a secure, mobile, central storage, re-charging and distribution facility for all leading makes of laptop computers and supports both hard wired and wireless network solutions.

The construction of the Smartline™ 'S' allows for a range of peripheral devices be stored and network enabled thus offering a truely flexible and mobile IT capability.

The Smartline™ 'S' has been designed and constructed to meet the demands of managing the use of laptop computers and offers probably the safest and most adaptable solution that is available at present.

The unique integral SmartLine™ Modules provide safe recharging as well as facilitating easy capacity upgrades from 5 to 30 laptop computers. Each Module caters for a maximum of 5 laptop computers.

Lapsafe mobile trolley laptop storage/chargers

Lapsafe products comprise a mobile trolley; Mini Mentor holds up to 15 laptops; Midi Mentor holds up to 20 laptops; Mentor holds up to 30 laptops and Maxi Mentor holds up to 40 laptops.

Storage inside the lockable mobile trolley is made up of laptop shelf modules, each module holding 5 laptops. This enables you to select the required amounts of laptop storage and charging modules for your current needs and the remaining space can be used to add more laptop shelf modules at a later date or optional modules such as DTM - data transfer module – which lets you run antivirus software or download information from the Internet or server, (wake on LAN).

Once you have selected your trolley size you need to choose the type of laptop storage and charging modules; either ChargeLine which has 240V charging, surge and crossphase protection where all laptops are charged simultaneously; or SmartLine, which in addition to the above has individual LED charging indicator lights, which means teachers save time as they can see which laptops are on charge.

ChargeLine modules are universal and you can put 5 different makes of laptop in them; with SmartLine you can only put the same make of 5 laptops within each module.

Finally, you select either S or E, for instance: Mentor SmartLine E or Mentor SmartLine S. E indicates the trolley has secure lockable storage and laptop charging, whilst S indicates it has additional features of a fitted alarm and is network ready.

Prices shown have been discounted by 30% for bonefide education customers only; for NHS/government add 15%; for corporate add 30% to prices shown, plus VAT in all instances.

Questions to answer to discover which laptop charger is best for your needs:

How many laptops you want to store and charge? (determines size of mobile trolley - Mini Mentor (15) - Midi Mentor (20) - Mentor (30) or Maxi Mentor (up to 40 laptops).

How do you want to charge your laptops. Do you want configured charging which is easy to use? (You don’t have to use each laptop’s own charging lead). Choose SmartLine.
Do you want to use different makes of laptops? Choose ChargeLine.
If you want configured charging for different makes of laptops then choose SmartLine but each make of laptop needs to go into a separate shelf module (holding up to 5).

Do you want an alarm system? Do you want network ready? Choose S. If no, choose E.

Lapsafe are finding that teachers appreciate their Smartline charging solution, for coupled with the added security features such as anti-drill high security locks, anti-jemmy strips etc., and thermostatically controlled fans to keep the laptops cool – if a laptop battery is charged at the wrong temperature it can actually shorten the battery life, the trolleys are built to last, have good functionality and can be upgraded in necessary.
