Hitachi has been operating in UK for many years and has its corporate headquarters in Maidenhead Berkshire. This is also the European headquarters.

Hitachi first establish a presence in the UK in the early 1970's and today there are now several hundred employees working for more than 25 UK based Hitachi companies.
