InterWrite Pad nterwrite Learning’s Interwrite Pad was designed with the teacher in mind. This Bluetooth™ wireless pad includes Interwrite software and gives the teacher the ability to teach their interactive lessons from anywhere in the classroom. Patented technology Bluetooth wireless device lets you teach from anywhere in the classroom up to 300 feet or pass it to a student and let them contribute from their desk. You can use with the Interwrite Board (sold separately), or project computer images on any surface to create an interactive whiteboard. Up to 7 pads can be used in one classroom. Features Digitizing Technology: The Interwrite Pad utilizes patented electromagnetic digitizing technology which delivers high resolution (4,000 lines per inch with Model 400), providing superior performance for fine annotations, manipulating of images/resources and handwriting recognition. Software: Interwrite Software, included with every Interwrite Pad purchase, is an extremely intuitive and easy to use education software package that includes thousands of images and resources to create interactive lessons. Interwrite Software can also be used to annotate, highlight or make notes over any computer program. You can even save, print or e-mail your lessons and all notations to students who are away from class. Bluetooth™ Hub: Available as either a PCMCIA card or a USB dongle, the Bluetooth Hub is an antenna that connects to your computer and provides wireless connectivity between the computer and the Interwrite Pad (Model 400 only). Interactive Pen: An interactive pen provides full mouse capability (left and right click, drag and drop, etc.) when using the Interwrite Pad. The pen included with the Interwrite Pad Model 400 is rechargeable and can also be used as an interactive pen with the Interwrite Board. Power Requirements: The Interwrite Pad Model 400 contains a rechargeable NiMH battery. Under normal conditions, the battery life is 40 hours of continuous use. A power supply with a 10' cord is included for recharging. The Interwrite Pad Model 100 uses the power from the RS232 or USB port of your computer—no power supply is needed.
