Activboard+2Fixed installation Installation of Activboard+2 Fixed interactive whiteboard and projector on fixed wall frame and install of a pair of speakers. Includes face plate. Does not include the equipment. Standard installation The standard installation includes installation of your whiteboard, projector and pair of speakers. Includes a face plate, which will be within 3m of the whiteboard. Price is per install on one site. Go Audio Visual Once an installation has been ordered, the third party installation company, Go Audio Visual, will contact you to book a site survey, which may be on-site or by telephone. They are fully accredited SMART and Promethean ActivBoard installers. On the date of installation, the room must be available and all equipment on site. Maximum height for installation is 4m. Installation does NOT include equipment, nor electrics. Where you have purchased a pair of wall speakers to go down the side of the interactive whiteboard, these will be connected by the installer. However, installation of an audio system, such as ceiling speakers and amplifier, or three or more wall speakers and amplifier, these will NOT be included in the installation. The standard installation includes a double gang back box with stainless steel face plate which gives 2 PC inputs (but cable to only one input), an interactive whiteboard input, composite video input, audio left and right phono input and PC audio input. The cables from your projector are trunked to the box.
The standard installation price is for the geographical area: South of the line drawn between Southport and Grimsby, East of the lines drawn between Bristol and Poole, East of the lines drawn between Chester and Newport and lastly, Central London. Congestion charges for central London will be added to the invoice. For any other area please ask for a quotation.
Additional costs may be associated with an installation, and these are normally highlighted at the time of the site survey (usually done by telephone) and are priced below. -240v power (spur or socket on ceiling, isolation switch on wall) £190 each (all prices do not include VAT) Important note It is the responsibility of the end user to ensure that the room is available and any power points, etc., are available and the equipment is on site, ready for the installer to do their job. Should the installation engineer have to return, you will incur a second installation charge.
