Digital signage software allows you to produce content, be it an advertisement, menu of the day, etc., for display on a large screen or through a projector.
Your message may be composed as a PowerPoint presentation, or you may prefer to use a professional digital signage software package which allows you to add .PDFs, movies, still images (JPEGS), scrolling text messages, etc., to make your message more interesting.
For instance a large widescreen LCD monitor, displaying your message in the reception area of an entertainment centre, may include your advertisement down the left hand side of the screen with a movie of this weekend's live music. As people are attracted to watch the movie, they are then more likely to read your advertisement.
