Feedback location system (FLS) is a simple device that looks at the signal that flows through it, and identifies the frequencies that are the highest. As its full range, it has bass sound, bass guitars and drums. A feedback eliminator is a digital product that finds the feedback frequency and then kills it off. When a presenter, wearing his tie clip mic, wanders around the stage, then the feedback eliminator is like a safety net. There is nothing worse than when someone marches past the loudspeaker - the feedback can, metaphorically speaking, take your head off as it has everyone rushing to hold their ears. In sound, you could best liken a spectrum enhancement processor to "sprinkling fairy dust on a PA system". You listen to music played through a PA system. Then listen to it when it's connected to a spectrum enhancement processor. What this "fairy dust box" does is listen to the sound of the music and where there are bass notes it adds more bass at an octave lower, so that it enhances the bass, a bit like having two bass guitars for the price of one. It can clean up the higher frequencies and give it more sparkle. It can give your music a wider stereo sound so it appears to fill the room a little bit more.
