Please note The manufacturer has optional upgrade warranties and highly recommend you take one, as it changes the warranty from return to base to on-site. If no upgrade is taken and a fault develops it is the responsibility of the customer to package the product properly and arrange shipment back to the manufacturer for repair. As well as this inconvenience there is always the possibility of damage in transit to the manufacturer, so insuring the unit in transit would also be advisable. As these units are heavy and costs to dismantle from wall and ship and insure back to the manufacturers for repair, the manufacturer recommends you upgrade so that an engineer will attend on site should you need a repair.
