C98 gooseneck paging microphone

Communication Technology C98/XLR moving coil microphone fitted to fully flexible 295mm gooseneck, terminated with 3 pin male XLR connector. Needs base sold separately.

Capsules are mounted in a computer-matched acoustic chamber fitted with an 'anti pop' blast screen. A stainless steel mesh protects the capsule from physical damage.

A noise cancelling, moving coil only option is also available.

C98 series of light duty paging gooseneck microphones

A range of paging microphones designed for use where voice clarity is an essential requirement and offering both moving coil and electret capsules fitted to fully flexible or rigid goosenecks. In addition, the microphone head only is available for free mounting or suspension.

C98 series features

Moving Coil Capsule: With a polar diagram approximating to cardioid, the capsule has a substantially flat frequency response with an added 'presence' lift at 3KHz.

Electret Capsule: The polar diagram is unidirectional in characteristic and the frequency response extends beyond the speech band. The internal FET pre-amplifier requires a small DC voltage to operate.

Mounting Methods: A variety of other mechanical means of mounting can be offered as alternatives to the standard 10mm diameter threaded bush. For example, mating with 3 PIN XLR sockets, or flange mount.
