Founded in 1990, AVerMedia, manufacturer document cameras for schools and businesses, TV tuners and PC-to-TV converters. In 1997, they became a public listed company in Taiwan.

AVerVision300, a portable and lightweight document camera with a mechanical arm design, an innovative design from AverMedia, led them to receive the Best Choice of Multimedia Products Award at Computex 2002 and several top editorial ratings in the industry.
